fiftyfoureleven’s challenge
I really am much better at implementing other people’s designs than I am at making my own from scratch.
Today I came across this CSS semantics challenge on fiftyfoureleven.com. Not feeling like working on the WSDL reporting pages I was supposed to be doing, I set out to create a semantically-sensible version of the given design. Here’s what I came up with. The CSS is all in the source file, if you want to take a look. There might be more elegant ways of marking it up, but the result looks pretty darn close to the original, and it’s happy in lynx, too.
