Don't worry, "If you build it, they will come..." Thanks for the link to the icon generator, that's a cool one, I use Irfanview to change a gif to .ico format. In case any beginners drop in, you have to make a favicon at 16 by 16px or 32 by 32, I believe. And be prepared for weird stuff to happen to them if you start modifying them once they're on your server. PS: Your comment on Whitespace re: images was thoughtful. Hey, still no other posters?
