					<description>Well, it appears the slowness of my site was unrelated to the hosting problems.  Going with a hunch, I commented out the line that checks weblogs.com for last updated logs, and now everything's back to normal.</description>

					<description>Good question.  I haven't had time to look into it yet.  There might be some problem with weblogs.com itself, though I doubt it.  I know weblogs.com blocks people that download the list of updated logs too frequently, so maybe the WordPress software was messing up somehow and I got blocked, and WordPress maybe wasn't handling that well?  I'm just guessing here.  Maybe this weekend I'll have time to figure it out.</description>
