Google Adwords

I’m very impressed with Google Adwords. They make it so easy for anyone to instantly advertise anything, and how much it costs is entirely up to you!

You see, for my Dad’s birthday, I decided to help him boost traffic to his website by setting him up with Adwords.

The management interface isn’t quite perfect, in my opinion, but it still makes it remarkably easy to advertise your site. Whenever you want, you can go in and play with different keywords, cost-per-click amounts, and your daily budget. And of course, there’s writing the ads themselves. Even more fun than configuring the ads are seeing the results - which keywords yield the most clicks? What cost-per-click do you need to get a good position?

Of course, DigitalAdvisor (where I work) has been using Google advertising for some time now, but I haven’t been involved with that side of things. It’s pretty cool to get it up and running myself.

I’ve used AdWords a few times, and it’s very nice. The amount of adjustments you can make is staggering, but powerful.
