Hello,

I just viewed Digital Advisor briefly on Safari (1.2.4) on Mac OS X.3 and mostly the dropdowns look just fine. However, on the Audio/Video > MP3 Player page, the left column "Find MP3 Players" covers up the dropdown navigation. Without looking at the code, it looks like a z-index problem. As I said though, I only looked around briefly.

BTW, I can't remember how I came across your blog, but I work at MIT as a Web Designer and I'm also a knitter and a cat owner/lover, so I've got you on RSS! :)

Safari 2.0, works fine.
Explorer 5.2, total failure.
Opera 6.0, top level ok, no dropdown.
Opera 8.0, works, but top level wraps around to second line.

Recommendation: leave the site as is. Mac Explorer 5 is among the honored dead

Thanks Frankie. I did add a z-index value to the dropdowns at some point after writing this post, glad to see it's working. And sorry your comment got moderated at first - I've been getting tons of comment spam on older posts recently, so they now have auto-moderation turned on.
