So, today’s high is supposed to be 100 degrees, so I was thinking about maybe finding a place to go swimming. I’m sure Walden Pond must be packed, but I remembered hearing about swimming at Lake Cochituate in Framingham. Googled that, didn’t find too much detail or pictures, so I tried Googling “+Cochituate beach +blog”, and the first result turned out to be the blog of one of the friends my sister made while she was living here! Anyway, from her site, I found links to the following two blogs which could prove useful or interesting for other people living in Watertown:

• Tish’s Dish: reviews of restaurants in the Newton area.
• H2Otown: a blog about Watertown happenings. It’s a little rough around the edges (kind of hard to navigate), but could be interesting.
