My birthday doll

Apparently my friend Rob doesn’t think I’m too old yet for dolls, because that’s what he gave my for my birthday! Actually, it was a doll-making kit. I think I did rather well with it, if I may say so myself!

Hi! Made my way here via ProBlogger and just had to comment after seeing this ADORABLE fairy doll! I have a doll-making kit from my time in Japan. She’s wearing a kimono so I had to get it. Been a few years but I swear I will make it someday. Maybe if I ever have a daughter….

Hi Lei! Thanks for coming by and commenting! I know, isn’t she cute? I even took her for show-and-tell to the office today so Rob could see the finished product.
Your Japanese doll sounds pretty adorable, too - I’m sure it would make a great little project for little girls as well as 29-year-olds like me!

Happy birthday! Mine was the 12th. I guess that makes us both Scorpios, whatever that means.
